Today and updated knitting

So it looks like this outside today.  We got about 3 or 4" so far. 
More is expected. 
As my car is like a cat's claws on ice imma stayin' home today.

Only getting up to *25 today, so I am making this:

in my crockpot.   Loaded Baked Potatoe Soup.  Seems like a good day for it.   :)

Finally,  have my Wavedeck shawl blocking~!
I really need to get some blocking wires, but I'm kinda wondering if I really need them.   I mean, do they make that big of a difference to the finished product?
