Blooming Onion

This just looked to good not to try right away.

The toughest part was slicing and cross-slicing the bread.  I didn't make the cuts deep enough this time.  
Just melted butter, sliced green onions,  poppy seeds, and cheese slices.

Ready for the oven. 
I wish I could describe the aroma of this before, during, and after baking!

So good.
